Mila

Walnut Creek, CA

  Breed: Dachshund

  Weight: 10 lbs

  Age: 2 years old

  Gender: Female

I’m Ashley, I’m 34 years old and have a miniature long haired dachshund named Mila. I work from home and can take breaks throughout the day for playtime or walks (if it’s not too hot). We have a fully fenced yard and ramps/little stairs to get up on the couch or bed). My dog Mila is very shy with new people and dogs, but after getting to know them and feeling comfortable with them she becomes playful and very sweet. I’m looking to be able to swap boarding with someone that can watch her while we go away on vacation or want a longer night out, preferably someone who also has a small dog that she could play with as this automatically makes her more comfortable and excited. Mila does have separation anxiety so she would need to stay with someone who works from home and wouldn’t leave her alone for too long. She also sleeps in our bed at nights, so someone who is comfortable with her sleeping in their bed is also ideal.
